One of my favorite shots I’ve ever taken. This steer was hanging out with me at work one day, so I thought I’d capture it in all it’s glory. Texas, y’all.

Found this Blue Heeler sitting at the doorstep of one of our Marfa neighbors.

I caught this owl perched in a tree at work one day. I almost didn’t notice it until I took the picture.

Thompsons, TX – This is something I’ve only heard stories about: two bucks battling it out during the rutting season and getting hung up. I received a report that it happened in the field I work at. I was able to safely capture a photo using Hipstamatic. We were able to rescue the surviving buck and release him back to the wild, the other suffered a broken neck and did not make it.

I found this dog wandering around the field one day. It was in pretty bad shape. Gave her some water and some food, and she’s feeling a lot better. She just might turn into the official field dog.
